A question is often asked about Sri Aurobindo’s wife Mrinalini Devi and the kind of relationship they shared. Thanks to Nirod da’s account culled from various sources, we have enough information to draw a reasonable conclusion. It is a love full of sacrifice and the nobility, depth and tenderness. We see here how human love can be uplifted to rare heights of divinity, a divinely human love so to say or perhaps the love of divine for a mortal person. We are happy to share some of these aspects of Sri Aurobindo’s love for Mrinalini Devi.
